Alp 1.159m

Alp is the most visited town. It is home to the La Molina and Masella ski resorts, which, with the Alp 2500 ski area, make it one of the most important winter sports centers in Europe. Today, Alp is the “European Village of Sport”.

This town also has a wide range of cultural and leisure offers, and a wide range of cuisine that delights the most refined palates. Work is currently underway to obtain the official “Family Tourism” seal awarded by the Catalan Tourism Agency.

Bellver de Cerdanya 1.050m

It is the ideal place to enjoy high mountain nature, hiking the Camino dels Bons Homes, Ruta dels Segadors (also known as the Camino de Picasso, GR-150), local trails and caving (Fou de Bor, cave of Anes).

The town invites visitors to get carried away and discover, while walking, the Old Quarter of the town, the basilica of Sta. Maria de Talló, the Forest Museum, the Basses de Gallissà River Park (with storks) and the prehistoric remains.

Among the main events organized there are: the fairs of Sant Llorenç, artisan products (August 10), agriculture and livestock (October 11-12) and Pirineu Esport (Constitution Bridge), which give in Bellver a first-rate commercial character. The Talló Gathering (Easter Monday), the Festa de Sant Antoni (June 13) and national fishing competitions. Important annual offer of cultural and sports activities. Bolvir 1.145m

This municipality, known for the important Iberian site “El Castellot”, has as notable sets its parish church of Sta. Cecilia, the castle and the chapel and the Remedy Tower. It is an important area of second homes. The facilities of the Royal Golf Club of Cerdanya, a pioneer in the region, stand out.

Das 1.215m

The bell towers of the church and the town hall characterize the image of the municipality, which is made up of the towns of Mosoll, Sanavastre and Tartera. Das also houses the Cerdanya aerodrome together with the municipality of Fontanals de Cerdanya.

Fontanals de Cerdanya 1.150m

Fontanals de Cerdanya arises from the union of Queixans and Urtx (1969). It also includes the villages of Estoll, Escadarcs and Vilar d’Urtx. The town stands out for its Romanesque examples of Soriguerola, Les Pereres and Queixans. Its tourist development has been complemented by the Fontanals de Cerdanya golf course.

Ger 1.110m

This municipality, made up of the towns of Ger, Gréixer and Saga, is a pleasant and uncrowded place where you can find the depopulated areas of Montmalús and Niula. The term covers the terrain from the Segre to the high peaks, which border France. Among the tourist attractions, visitors are advised to stop at the Romanesque church of Saga.

Guils de Cerdanya 1.384m

Bordering the French Cerdanya, the church of Sant Esteve de Guils and the square bell tower of Saneja stand out. During the winter, we highlight the Guils – Fontanera area, where you can go cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at the resort of the same name, and where the herds graze in the summer. The Fontanera Gathering is held in mid-August.

Isòvol 1.050m

From the quarries of Isòvol came the red marble that adorns many churches in the region. In Olopte, its gray marble quarries and the caves of La Balma del Vent and Alluvium, where archeological remains of Neolithic origin have been discovered, are worthy of admiration.

Lles 1.471m

Nordic ski lovers have first-class facilities in Cap del Rec (Lles) and El Fornell (Aransa) to practice this sport. This town is crossed by the river La Llosa, great for fishing. Aggregates Arànser, Coborriu de la Llosa, Músser, Travesseres and Viliella, typical villages of the Catalan Pyrenees.

Llívia 1.224m

From the 17th century it became a Spanish enclave on French territory, which has given it a special tourist attraction. It is also a place that has witnessed the passage of numerous armies (Romans, Visigoths, Arabs and Franks, occasionally, and French on numerous occasions).

Among the cultural and leisure offerings, the visit to the Municipal Museum stands out, where you can see some of the most emblematic pieces of the famous Esteva s Pharmacy. XV, as well as the Music Festival, which takes place during the months of August and December.

Meranges 1.550m

Meranges is located in the valley of the river Duran and integrates the villages of Meranges and Girul. Many hikers visit the highest areas of the town, where the Malniu lake and the Engorgs glacial circus stand out, as well as the ascent to the Puigpedrós. As a point of interest, visitors can admire the portal of the Romanesque church of Meranges.

Montellà i Martinet 1.150 – 950m

Martinet, the capital of the municipality, is a town with many and varied tourist attractions: Casa de Riu converted into an information office and space for exhibitions; Bunkers Park, which is presented as a different proposal to recover historical memory; Montellà: is the natural viewpoint of Cerdanya; Estana: watchman of the tortuous walls of the Cadí, starting point of wonderful excursions; Béixec: showcase of summer green and winter yellow forests and Víllec: gateway to the Bastanist valley. In addition, Martinet is a privileged area for countless excursions: Prat d’Aguiló, Prat de Cadí, Vall de Bastanist, Estanys de la Pera …

Prats i Sansor 1.124 – 1.068m

Located at an altitude of 1,124 m, it is located at the historical and geographical limits, through the Coll de Saig, between the small (la Batllia) and the large Cerdanya. It is formed by the nuclei of Sansor, Prats, Barri Capdevila and urbanization El Pla and is accessed by the road LP-40332 from Bellver to Alp.

As points of historical-tourist interest, the Romanesque church of Sant Serni and the hermitage of Sant Salvador should be highlighted, which is located in an enviable place from where the whole valley is dominated. Archaeological work on the Montlleó site is important. Prats i Sansor has an excellent gastronomic and hotel offer.

Prullans 1.096m

Prullans is a living testimony of history: the oldest evidence corresponds to a Bronze Age settlement and the dolmens of Oren. In addition, it preserves the tower of the Baron of Prullans and is notable the cave of Anes (shared with Bellver), as well as the fortified farmhouse of Oren. The location of the village offers a unique view of the Sierra del Cadí. Among the most important festivities, we should mention “Fat Thursday” with the traditional sausage omelette and the Sant Antoni Gathering.

Puigcerdà 1.202m

Puigcerdà, located in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees, is the capital of Cerdanya. It has a privileged location, as it borders France. Among the most emblematic tourist spots, the bell tower stands out, located in the shopping center, which is the starting point of a tourist route where you can enjoy remnants of the Romanesque, Gothic and Neo-Gothic periods. Also noteworthy are Lake Puigcerdà and Shierbeck Park, where you can enjoy the scenery and nature.

As a sports offer, visitors can go hiking, high mountain hiking, mountain biking or quad biking. Puigcerdà also organizes agricultural and livestock fairs (Fira del Cavall), cultural and gastronomic events (Festa del Trinxat) and festivals (Roser, Sagristia) that culminate in the emblematic Festa de l’Estany.

Riu de Cerdanya 1.179m

It is an old municipality that was added from Bellver de Cerdanya. It has an altarpiece dedicated to Saint John. It is characterized by the fountain, located in the square. Within its boundaries, next to the northern mouth of the Cadí tunnel, is the Grau de l’Ós, a unique gorge of great natural interest.
