The Other Side of the Gallows

Route of historical, cultural and landscape interest whose track passes through the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park.

The route begins a walk to the impressive north face of the Cadí, in La Cerdanya, and it is needed to move towards Berguedà through “pas dels Gosolans”, an old pass that connected both regions, and that takes us to the land of the imposing Pedraforca.

This route allows us to discover the Vansa Valley, where we will intensely enjoy small mountain villages and their people who still keep alive the conservation of the rural heritage of their valley.

Finally we walk down to the plain of Alt Urgell, a green valley rich in crops, with the Segre river and surrounded by mountains. We then arrive to civilization at La Seu d’Urgell.
